All the Friends are volunteers and a significant number no longer have children playing in groups.
As a result we are desperately in need of more new faces to help us out during the weekday evenings, Saturday mornings and at events.
We are not asking for everyone to be a part of the committee (we don't have enough chairs!), just to be available if possible to help out on tuck shop evenings or at concerts.
It can be a concert your child is playing in, in which case there is no additional travelling involved, and you can see the entire concert. Just to be around during the interval to help serve refreshments is a big help.
If you are taking your child to an evening rehearsal and waiting at the centre for them to finish, please consider helping out in the tuck shop.
It takes very little out of your evening, but makes a huge difference to the Music Service.
